This Claddagh Eternity Ring is also known as an infinity ring and is a symbol of eternal love. It is usually given by a husband to a wife on special occasions such as a wedding anniversary, the birth of a child or as an important birthday gift.

It includes the traditional Claddagh symbol at the top of the band with the addition of both Green and Clear Cubic Zirconia stones to each side. The sophisticated Emerald is known for its intense radiant color, the color of life and spring. It is also known as the stone of successful love and said to embody unity, compassion and unconditional love. The Claddagh symbolizes love, loyalty, and friendship. These all combine to make the perfect Claddagh Ring for a loved one.

The Claddagh is one of the most popular symbols in Irish jewelry. The Claddagh Ring dates to the 17th century and originated in the village of Claddagh in County Galway, Ireland. Legend has it that Richard Joyce, a Galway native, was captured and sold to slavery in North Africa. However, Joyce found himself slave to a Turkish Goldsmith, and from his master he learned and excelled at the craft.

He was finally released after 14 years, on the orders of William III. However, the Goldsmith he was working for was so impressed by his work that he offered his daughters hand in marriage to him. He also offered half of his property to try and get him to stay. But Joyce refused the offer and returned to Galway, where his sweetheart awaited him. But while in captivity, he had made what we now know as the Claddagh Ring especially for her.
